Lenovo Laptop Docking Station not Working

The below fixes a KNOWN FLAW with firmware updates with the ThinkBook and ThinkPad Lenovo models. It's a firmware that disables charging via the USB-C port which disables charging and docking functions.

1. Confirm the docking station is plugged up correctly using the Thunderbolt designated USB-C port on the dock
   
1. Be sure to NOT BE using the normal USB Type-C connector on the front (see image)
2. 
   
2. With the lid open and all cables unplugged, Power the laptop down using the "Shutdown" function within Windows
   
3. Hold the power button for 60 seconds (Keep holding even during and after the laptop has booted)
   
4. Once the laptop powers back on, plug the UCB-C charger/docking station back in
   
5. Confirm the laptop is now charging and the docking functionality is working as expected.
